Futures Week Aruba is inspired by World Futures Day (December 2) and brings together a series of in-school events, participatory sessions, and small immersive events that invite students, teachers, researchers, journalists, and community partners to explore how we think about tomorrow.
The week is intentionally small in scale but deep in significance and substance. By connecting futures thinking with climate adaptation, media and communication, and our emerging multicultural community, the program highlights how anticipation can guide practical skills, creativity, and informed decision-making.
This week also features the closing and showcases of four UNESCO-funded Participation Programme projects, demonstrating the insights, capabilities, and collaborations developed across our partner organizations and their participants.
